The focus of the guitar class is to get students making music with other students. Chords and strumming patterns are taught with the goal of being able to play favorite songs. Guitar students help provide the music in chapel and accompany singers on visits to nursing homes. Rather than recitals, guitar students give "cofeehouse" performances to demonstrate what they have achieved.
